Pain

Pain

A Poem by nakerjay

Pain overcomes shock,

Cutting to the bone,

This, the deepest wound,

I have ever known,

I took a chance,

Let her inside,

Sunk in her roots,

Ripped up my life,

Heart now is stone,

Veins flow with ice,

No thought of remorse,

As I end her life.

'end her life' is only a metaphore.. =)..

Whoa, now that was another good job friend. Though a bit "scary" lol, you really do know your flow and rhyme is good don't you? And you are able to paint such vivid pictures with so few words. Keep going, I think you will find you "niche" in the world of writing. Good job...;)
