''What was that? I could have sworn I heard some thing.''
I am standing in a hallway. I have no idea how I got here. Just standing here. I feel I have been here before. For some reason I feel a compulsion to walk down the hallway.
Every thing is painted white, There are identical doors on each side. The doors have strange hieroglyphics on them. I have no idea what they say.
At the end of the hallway is a door identical as all the rest. It is the same as all the rest, except it only has two hieroglyphics on it. UP
The door opens onto a landing. There is a set of ascending stairs. I climb the stairs and find a door marked,
Opening the door I find a large room. On one side is a low counter with two people behind it. At the far end are rows of shelves full of books. On the end of each are more hieroglyphics. On one wall is a series of shelves with magazines and papers displayed. In the center are tables and chairs.
''Hello, Mister Dean. I see you decided to join us again.''
I hear the click! again and everything goes dark.
''Damn! there it goes again. I thought programing said they had it fixed.''
''I guess we will have to send him back down. This makes the third time. There damn robots are so tempermental.''
