Chapter 5A Chapter by NadineThe past week passed in a blur. It was like a roller coaster ride. I spent a good amount of days preparing and packing my things into boxes to get it moved to Leon's castle. The girls were happy for me. They teased me incessantly. They even composed a song for me. 'Leon and Belle.. Sitting in a tree.. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!' I was mortified. One day, I was so pissed off, I shouted, 'Shut up, b*****s! Go piss someone else!' I was learning to curb rude words now. But they were too much. Prior to the indirect proposal I received from Leon, he set me up lessons mainly on 'royal mannerisms, protocols and etiquette'. Madam Edna who was my tutor was exceptionally nice. She was patient and willingly offered extra lessons when I needed one. Our lessons were held in the evening on every other day for two hours. It was convenient for us since it was after my classes. Speaking of classes, the whole UWP knew about my engagement. Who would not, right? One thing I'm still thankful for was that, they did not see me as anything less than the usual. I have one week left before I became another man's wife. Leon hasn't contacted me at all. He kept a quiet distance and I wondered why. I didn't dare to ask Madam Edna. There was a knock on the door. 'Come in!' I was busily sorting out the clothes into piles, before placing them into plastic bins with rollers. Some of the clothes were for the thrift store. 'Hi, Isabelle.' I stopped. My mind went numb. That voice. My heart was literally beating out of my chest. God damn it. He does have the best time to make an appearance. Then I remembered. Oh lord. I breathe in slowly. I was wearing a nautical designed boy shorts with a matching cami. I'm going to kill Tasha for real this time. The nerve of her! She should have at least gave me a warning that someone was coming up to our dorm room. Slowly, I turned to see Leon. He was gorgeous. With a tan khaki bermudas and a striped green collared tee, he was without a doubt, every girl's dream guy. Wow, I never thought that the Prince can look so casual. I glimpsed at his feet. Black slippers. That's a first. 'Had your fill, Isabelle? Satisfied?' He chuckled. Then, likewise Leon roved his eyes over mine. It was an agonizing torture. He started from the top; lingering longer at my eyes, lips, mouth, neck, breasts, and legs. Instinctively, I crossed my arms over my chest. I felt stripped to the very core. 'What about you? Finished ogling yet?' I answered back. Smirking, he learned against the door jab. 'You're cute, y'know.' 'Thanks?' I pouted. 'So what do I owe you the pleasure, Prince Leon? I haven't seen you in a week and you magically appeared in my dorm room without so much of contacting me?' 'Hah. You missed me? How sweet.' Leon walked over me, passing through the boxes without tripping on his feet. He was the epitome of perfection. I scrambled backwards knocking over a box of treats, but quickly ran over to the corner of the room. S**t. Wrong move, Isabelle! 'Don't come any closer!' I shrieked. 'You are my fiancée. Have you forgotten about that?' He was so close... 'Yes, I remembered. Stop. Stand there. Okay. Right. You still haven't answered my question.' Leon laughed. 'I was busy preparing for our big day. I thought maybe you would want some space before becoming a wife.' 'How thoughtful,' I sneered. 'Of course, I am. Don't you ever doubt that. Are you almost done packing?' '80% done. Why?' 'Because I want to take you out for lunch now. Get dressed.' He started to turn but stopped when I said, 'No!' Leon made a full turn before coming right in front of me, towering me with his height. My head ended right at the tip of his dimpled, well-shaven chin. I tilted my head up; piercing my hazel eyes into his blue ones. I was breathing hard. His warmth radiated through my whole body. He leaned closer, until the tip of his nose touched mine. With deliberate slowness, in a hushed tone, 'Isabelle, I do not like to repeat myself twice. If I ask you to do something, you better do it. No buts. No 'No's. Get. Dressed. Isabelle. Before I kiss you senseless.' I opened my mouth to protest, however, time stood still when he brushed his lips against mine. I purred with pleasure. I wanted to let the world swallow me whole. Now. 'You are full of surprises, Isabelle Wyn Williams. I'm assuming that marriage life will agree with you just fine. Ten minutes enough for you to get ready? I'll be waiting downstairs, fiancée.' After he left, I slid down the wall; drawing my head into my knees. I'm scared shitless. I'm falling fast. © 2014 Nadine |
