Tornado

Tornado

A Poem by riley marie

Tornado: - noun: a violent outburst, as of emotion or activity.

Just like a tornado, unfamiliar, frightening, destructive to several lives, and therefore;

I miss how you would let me know everyday how much I meant to you, how lucky you are to have me

I miss how you wouldn’t care what hour the clock read at night, you'd still stay up to talk to me

I miss how you went ahead and did things for me to make me happy

I miss feeling like I was the most important aspect of your life

I miss how you would come see me every chance you had

I miss feeling like I’m the only one that you’d ever want

I miss how you made me feel on top of the world

I miss how you’d be thrilled to see me, talk to me

I miss how you’d call me just to hear my voice

I miss how you’d go out of your way for me

I miss how you talked to me like you cared

I miss how you used to keep your promises

I miss how you never used to get so angry

I miss how you’d always be respectful

I miss how you seemed interested

I miss how you never used to yell

I miss feeling appreciated

I miss your reassurance

I miss your dedication

I miss your surprises

I miss smiling

I miss who

I used to

Know
