Betrayal.

Betrayal.

A Poem by Nabeeha Mustafa
"

Because at times, the people you can take down a bullet for, are the ones behind the trigger.

"
And all of a sudden,
nothing held its meaning,
She knew it was useless, by now,
as she cried kneeling.
Oh, the scars were deep,
deeper..
A shiver ran down her spine,
and her body surrendered.
Her head spun,
her blurry vision began to darken.
Was that it? Was it all over already?
All she could think about was the first day they met..

"A shiver ran down her spine... " Nice choice of words. Liked the imagery. A bit dark, a bit heartfelt.. & a bit teary. You put down your down feelings / emotions in this poetry... with much depth of "love". Well written!

I'm glad you liked it :') Thankyou.
excellent writing Nebeeha, you have a very powerful style with a little darkness in this poem, a poem i must say that you could probably expand into a very good story, your writing here tells me you have what it takes to be a poet and very much so an author of stories, keep up this good work :)
