but she thinks of the feelings
she can interpret in a poem

Her whole world revolves
around the feelings written
not the feelings shown
She loves movies
but prefers to watch them alone

She will write you poems
but you shouldn’t read them
Your heart will be broken
again & again.

Like writers, she could be your
work of art, but you’ll hate her
with all your heart
but it’s all you know
It’s what you call home

She’s happy but at the
same time you know
it’s hard for her.
She’s beautiful
but her thoughts aren’t
as soothing as her voice.

Be careful
She can cheat on you
with all the poems
Her true love is her
notebook
Where all her thoughts
are laid to rest

Don’t date a girl who writes
You think you need her
because she seems
so heartless
She only shows her feelings
on paper

Don’t blink
or you’ll miss her
Don’t blink
You won’t be able to
see the real her
