Running

Running

A Story by Derek Cummings
"

A little short prose I wrote to keep pace.

"
The smell of fresh cut grass, birds chirping, engines humming and heart
pounding. The side walk a carpet of leaves and pine-straw. Sweat running
down my face, and worries dwindling with every inhale and exhale. I'm
running, and I'm gone.

This was an interesting read, when one is running both physically and mentally all worries and troubles escape us, and everything around us is at peace.
