Love is a Syringe

A Poem by N. James Frazier

Love is a drug.

You don’t know where to start.

But the pin prick in your heart

It leaves you wanting more

Like some kind of dying w***e,

Crying from the inside out

You have no more doubt

That what you have is too much bliss

And you cant take too much more of this

Love is a drug,

Nice poem sir, love is a drug, I can feel the emotion and of course in my mind it is a drug. I liked it a lot.

WOW!!!...that is a different way to think about it...it almost makes you skeptical about love itself
The ending...would it be more effective if you switch the last two lines--overdose, then you die...??

too much bliss is worse than none at all. then you become blinded. nice poem.

oh, and spelling mistake on line 11 - should be than. And I would add some punctuation in as you use a period on lines 1 and 2. thats the only critique.
