When they say love knows no boundaries, i know now what they mean

For it's found in the passion and love of two who know nothing is out of reach

I've been awaken to the beauty, to the beauty of love and life

Where it's not about letting your demons destroy you, it's about conquering that strife

Of not being afraid of what's to come, of not being afraid to let someone in

Not listening to the ones who tore you down and kept you from any win

My shadows kept me unaware and hid me from that open door 

The one i finally walked into and found a safe and welcoming shore

No longer am i drowning my the waves of my past

For an angel of true heart found me and brought me up before the cast

He saved me when i felt alone, when i thought no one would dare

To come and show me love, but he proved me wrong, he was there

He made a great warm fire that burned away my pain

And to not leave me empty her placed a loving flame in my heart which no element can ever contain

I was once afraid to trust, too scared to not ever doubt

But he gave me a reason to open myself an now i can't help but shout

To shout how much he means to me, to shout how much i care

For he is my whole world, what i need, he is my air

I'm not afraid to trust him, to give him my entire heart

He's shown me a great deal and i'm ready to call this our start

A start to a new beginning where we have each other for what we face

A start to realize this is where i belong, this is my place

To be my angel's side no matter what we get in
