The Little Dot

I'm a simple person
I don't ask for much
I don't need a fortune
food and shelter is enough
I don't fall down
when times are getting rough
Instead I think from here
the only direction to go is up

People can tell me no
but only I can see my dreams
I'll live up to my words
no matter how unreal they seem
I don't need the best looking girl
just to make myself complete
or have to go out with 20
just to show my friends I'm sleek

I don't seek much help
or like asking for loans
I don't follow anyone's path
Instead I create my own
If you say I cant do it
doesn't mean I wont
I'll do it regardless
even if I'm alone

So I'm not gonna go out
and be something I'm not
I'll just continue to do my best
and leave the rest up to God
I never mind a challenge
I'll go against the odds
You can join the hundreds
& I'll be that little dot

This is so wonderful and well expressed.
we are all someone on this earth.
We look all over for it but forget the person we see in teh mirror is us.
If we search deeper we find out who we really are.
