ANSWERED PRAYER

I've served Him faithfully for many years

With a joyful servant's heart

And no matter what the future holds

From Him I will never part

I've followed Him obediently

Though His way was not always mine

He's always done what was best for me

Each and every time

I know He has a plan for me

That I've prayed for Him to reveal

I've laid my desires before Him

Though He knows just how I feel

And when I am feeling lonely

He reminds me that He is here

To hold and gently tell me

My child do not have fear

I did not form you to be alone

But to love and to unite

I've heard your prayers so faithfully

Each and every night

So I am sending you that "special one"

To turn your life around

No need for you to look any more

You know...he has been found

So pour your heart into him

And give him all OUR love

Know you have the blessings

Of your Father from above
