MY LOVE AND I

MY LOVE AND I

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

My Love And I

Today my sweet love and I

Spent time walking on the sand

His arm across my shoulder

As I gently held his hand

We always make time to be together

To "play" and laugh and tease

Sharing a glass of Chianti

While we embrace the gentle breeze

Our conversation never ends

Well, at least not for a while

He always knows just what to say

To my face he brings a smile

The years we have been together

I would not trade a single one

We have made so many memories

From the day we first begun

And now the time is finally here

When he takes me as his wife

To make more memories with him forever

With him alone I share my life

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
