FANTASY

FANTASY

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

FANTASY

Fantasy 's a place
A place that I call home
A place of make believe
Where my imagination's free to roam

It's filled with prince and princesses
And knights and maidens too
So please don't take things seriously
Just enjoy what my mind can do

For living in the real world
Brings sadness and much pain
Never is there sunshine
Always filled with rain

Fantasy to me you see
Is a place I want to stay
Sometimes it may bring trouble
A small price for me to pay

So if you like to amuse yourself
Please feel free to roam
In my vivid imagination
This place that I call home

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
