WALK WITH ME

WALK WITH ME

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

Walk With Me

Walk with me, come take my hand
Kick up sand along the shore
Feel the water embace your feet
And the warmth like never before

See the seagulls gliding
Across the sky of azure blue
If you listen very closely
You might hear them talk to you

The sun rays kiss the grains of sand
And the sea shells sparkle as well
Surely this is the kind of place
That one would love to dwell

The music of the water
As it gently dances by
Paints a picture of such beauty
Not just to the ear but to the eye

So take my hand and walk with me
Close your eyes and feel the breeze
For tomorrow another trip we'll take
As we dance through the woods with the trees

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
