BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR

If you've been praying
For that “special” one
Be careful what you ask for
Don't regret what you've done

Before you say you love her
And ask her to be your bride
Make sure it's from your heart
Not your ego or your pride

 Be sure she's the one
Who takes your breath away
And loves to make you happy
Each and every day

 She must be your partner
Your lover and your friend
Always by your side
Together till the end

 This advice I give you
Listen to what I say
Be careful what you ask for
When you're on your knees and pray

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
