AWAKEN MY SPIRIT

Awaken My Spirit

Oh Lord, awaken my spirit

That I might see with your eyes

I ask for Your discernment

To hear their heartfelt cries

Show my inner spirit

The hurt they carry within

Use me Lord as Your vessel

To help the healing begin

Bring me to my knees oh Lord

Let Your Spirit fall on me

Anoint me with such power

To set the captives free

May my spirit always be gentle

As I hold them to my breast

Let me comfort as You comfort

Till in You they find their rest
