BATTLES OVERCOME

the fight is over

Battles Overcome

My boots are made for combat

My sword is by my side

I stand beside my handsome knight

In him I have much pride

We've conquered many battles

Lost a few along the way

But a lesson learned we treasure

Is that our love will never stray

Days of jousting are over

They have finally come to an end

Swords and boots and armor

No longer needed to defend

We know that love has overcome

All battles, large and small

We've conquered every obstacle

That tried to make us fall

So take my hand for it is yours

From you it shall never part

For you have won the maidens love

Forever to share one heart
