I cry myself to sleep each night

I miss you more and more

The emptiness the loneliness

Never felt like this before

I thought I had it altogether

It took a while, but with that “smile”

There was nothing I could do!

We shared so much together

In fear that we might cry

This time will be different

No leaving, like before

Feeling lonely as can be
