I'd like to invite you to take a ride

On the highway in my mind

You'll find it quite relaxing

You might say it's one of a kind

There won't be any distractions

The trip is free from unwanted stress

No smog no lights no blowing horns

Just the quiet of the peacefulness

Sit back and enjoy this marvelous ride

And gaze to the sky above

Feel the gentle breeze passing by

From the wings of a snow white dove

There are many trees along the way

Each one pleasant to the eye

Streams of water spray their mist

Refreshing you as you pass by

The grass looks like green velvet

The highway is smooth and clean

As far as traffic, well I can say

None have I ever seen

The highway goes on forever

Taking you on a heavenly ride

Just close your eyes, never worry

There seems to always be a guide

And when the journey is over

You'll be refreshed like you've never been

To face your day and what it brings

Till you ride on my highway again
