OUR DANCE OF FOREVER

OUR DANCE OF FOREVER

A Poem by Barbara Lynne
"

the last dance

"

Our Dance Of Forever
How can this be
That I love you so much
I long for your kisses
I anticipate your touch
I close my eyes
And I can feel you near
Feel you sitting beside me
Yet you've never been here
I wake to the warmth
Of your breathe on my skin
Wrapped in your arms
Though I never have been
Could our love be that strong
That our spirits are one
Making love from a distance
Yet passion, we lack none
No one understands
What we share in our hearts
They think it's just fantasy
Fueled by cupids darts
But we both know better
Our love is real
And nothing else matters
Except how we feel
And as we both wait
For the day we're together
We will dream of our dance
Our dance of forever

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
