THANKFULA Poem by Barbara Lynnebeing thankfulThankful When I think of being thankful I know where to begin Back on that wooden cross Where He took away my sin Though I'm as filthy rags He sees me white as snow Forgiven past to future The depth no one will know He died because He loved me To the Father be reconciled To live with Him forever To be His beloved child His Mercy and His Grace He graciously gives to me He forms me to His likeness To be all that I can be So yes, I am quite thankful For what He's done for me I pray all eyes will open And see just what I see © 2011 Barbara Lynne |
