I die

I die

A Poem by wiccaceltica

 the welling inside

dares the moon

to bear down

in cold burning light

to

douse the

pain

and let me ride

stripped from the earth and everything

that is you

i

am

not

like you tonight

the tears are rivers of life

and breath is hard to find

swallowed in sacrifice

i die

a thousand times

in the blink of an eye

ripped to twirl in the atmosphere

with no one to grab

just

let

it crash

and i will finally

be home

walking away

now

to

bury

my

heart

leaving nothing but

pain

and

you

E.E. Cummings blows you kisses from beyond. This is NOt copying HIS work, but he appreciates yours...you, too, have chosen to make the words, the art form, as well as their meaning.

This poem is so filled with emotion. You use imagry of the moonlight, and your pain so well. I can see the tears dropping onto this poem as you cry your words from the depth of your being. Beautifully done.
