Life can be bitter

life can be sweet

Depending on your attitude

or who you might meet

 

If you meet someone negative

do your best to ignore

If you meet someone positive

invite them through your door

 

Try to find something good

as you look around and see

Put the bad stuff behind you

let your mind and heart flow free

 

You can control all that's bitter

you can adhere to all that's sweet

You can change your life to better

if you smile at all you greet
