Nothing Matters

Nothing Matters

A Poem by mystic

I can no longer see the shadow

cast by the silver moon

I no longer feel the golden sun

that warmed my lonely room

I no longer feel the touch

of the warrior in my dream

I can no longer hear the whispers

of loving words you say

I can no longer sense the smell

of passion on display

I can no longer taste loving kisses

of your sensual emotive well

I can no longer feel the weakness

from your soulful twinkling eyes

I can no longer hear your laughter

or enjoy the sweetest smile

Nothing matters anymore

the silence I cannot bear

you never commit to how you feel

my face is frozen in blank stare

Hope is gone you are not there
