Autumn, what have you done?

Autumn, what have you done?

A Poem by mystichoot

Oh Autumn, how terrible you are to watch, the green and the warmth of summer left me with a friendly smile, but now you put on my face, an expression of dismay. You put on your pretty colors but forget how cold you can be,

Oh Autumn, My how forgetful you are! Never tipping the valet, showing him how frightful you can be.

Oh Autumn, How I regret not leaving you sooner, you share the beauty of May, but forget how dear harlots pay.

Oh Autumn, won’t you leave me be? I’ve had enough of your pretention and wish to be another season. Your art bores me, No one adores you! You leave me wishing for someone with taste.

Oh Autumn, Why can’t you be like any other season, filled with feats that one could appreciate? Your color mean more to me, then they would a blind man. Don’t you see?

So Autumn, Be gone, I have no lust for you. Should you stay, you’d have me tempt fate, with a knot or two, with a balcony to catch my heart that feels nothing but spite for you.

Oh Autumn, how terrible you are to watch, the green and the warmth of summer left me with a friendly smile, but now you put on my face, an expression of dismay. You put on your pretty colors but forget how cold you can be,

Oh Autumn,

Oh Autumn,

Please leave me be!

Oh Autumn,

Oh Autumn,

What have you done?

Oh Autumn ,

Oh Autumn,

Where Have you gone?
