The Wind Of Sorrow

The Wind Of Sorrow

A Poem by Fatema

The Wind of Sorrow

By Fatema Juhora

The wind blows on a deserted town,

Called Sorrow

Many people pass by this town,

Always wondering this particular question

Every single time

“Why the town is called Sorrow”

Wondered, looked, and asked

But did they ever find it,

Nope,              not even a single clue

                         Still wonder today, but failed

The answer was never to be found

Neither revealed

For centuries nor millenniums

This is like one of those old mythic tales that makes you wonder. There's a creepiness to it I like.

I like the idea of this as I believe in the American desert there was a town called that in the 1800s. Valentine
