Mood Shift

Mood Shift

A Poem by myst-ry

Come out

of those noxious smoke whorls

of the stinky puddle in that crystal glass

of the dark memories of once dreamt world.

Wake up

to your own rays, O Sun!

to the newer vistas that wait for you

to new colours of ever moving vibrant world.

Laugh!

For then the world will laugh with you.

I won't be there, won't be needed too.

So laugh, may be at me too.

But laugh for me

because

when you weep

in your loneliness

you don't weep alone.

O mirthful spirit!

Arise and be alive again.

Me, your sullen side

should no longer remain.

Let me die

into the silence of oblivion.

Let me rest in peace

don't make me exist any more.

Let me leave

without hauntings of grief from this world.

Oh reminded me of my darker days wishing I could always smile and have no need for the scowling and the angry mood swings, to be able to remove this emotion and cast it away would be beautiful and to once more laugh and smile. Beautiful depth to your piece, sorry if i misunderstood it's intention only sounds to me you too need to remove an emotion and cast it away. Keep em' coming
