miseryfest of haikus

miseryfest of haikus

A Poem by myrah shariff
"

5 part haiku series

"
your little lisp that
i admired so ardently
is now the sound of

my bloodcurdling trial;
why did i ever think that
the cacophony

of words was enough
to beguile myself into
my gory demise?

don't stay up for me
you massacred my feelings
they are now trivial

hunts for delirium
my psyche is now chaos
my days are ebbing
