Empty ShorelineA Poem by The Night PoetTwo spirits separated at the peak of their loveAn Empty Shoreline
The music plays like constant waves Upon an empty shoreline My words of love that whispered in her ear Have now turned to tears
Smiling, as we kissed and danced together In nature's chorus line Time only knows how long will I Continue to miss her love and affection
Every part of my body and soul Longs for a reconnection I dare not wait until another lifetime To unite us again and have her near
Spirits of the night, call to her that she may hear Together we must be And fulfill love's plea
