That forbidden feeling

that what you want but cant touch feeling

First it’s the bad thoughts

Then it’s that wanting feeling

That feeling you can’t control by sitting still

So you think about acting…

 

But can you really act on these forbidden feelings

But you’re so young

It’s all too wrong

You shouldn’t be thinking about this

 

Who cares anyway?

So what if you touch yourself to these thoughts

You know he wants you just as bad

You can tell by the way he looks at you

 

But can you really act because you “know” he wants you

What about his wife.

What about his kids

What about his career

 

Damn you bad thoughts

Damn you wrong feeling

I guess I’m going to have to stay still

Or burn it out with the touch of my own.

wow, i love inner thought invoked poems. seems like everyone hides behind this idea that life is perfect...its longing and surreal, unsatisfied and yearning all the way to the end. i appreciate this piece, because we all have that moment of desire we cant act upon. i want to know how it ends like a voyeur i suppose.
