Unlit Rooms

Unlit Rooms

A Poem by Chloe Powell
"

poem

"

Alone in an unlit room,
Everything smells of you,
I can never get you out of my mind,
No matter how hard I try,
But it's better this way.
With you in my mind,
You show me the path I need to take.
You illuminate every unlit room;
Give me a sense of hope,
I hope I do the same for you.
Alone in an unlit room,
Your lights provides me with comfort.
Even when you're gone,
I can still see.
You're the lights strung across my walls,
Always willing to illuminate unlit rooms,
To give me a sense of hope.

About
I love writing, though I'm probably not even close to being the best. I always either write or draw during my free time and would very much enjoy even a small amount of recognition. I post on Wattpad .. more..
