Drown

Drown

A Poem by Chloe Powell
"

Poetry speaks for itself

"
Unpleasant voices drowning my thoughts,
Threatening to leave me to rot,
Six feet underground,
Where they say I belong.
My thoughts play along,
Though the voices are wrong.
The voices are anchors,
They're pulling me down.
Unable to break the chains,
Soon I will drown.
