Monday

Monday

A Poem by Chloe Powell
"

Monday as a person.

"

She wakes you earlier today,
And fills you with dismay.
She comes weekly,
Never will she be astray.
She creeps meekly.
Though many dislike her,
She can endure,
She is strong.
She sings a song.
One that is important,
Even if some forget.
Monday is the beginning,
With her absent,
You'd miss her grinning.

I HATE MONDAYS....and here it is again.

I thinking this piece is genius because it was like you were able to put a face on Monday. It made it more personal the way I looked at perhaps the most weary day of the week.

I love writing, though I'm probably not even close to being the best. I always either write or draw during my free time and would very much enjoy even a small amount of recognition. I post on Wattpad .. more..
