Hiding

This is a poem I wrote when I was depressed.

there was a girl who seemed bubbly and fun,

 who had a fight with her emotions and depression won,

 she never let anyone see past he outer shell,

 even though inside life was hell,

 she holds it all inside until she bursts,

and when she explodes she feels worst,

thinking about all the hurt and the pain,

she sits in the dark while her eyes cry rain,

 she needs to tell somone because it drives her to madness,

 but decides to keep in all of her sadness,

 in her mind she thinks she needs to tell someone soon,

 but decides to cover her sadness with a happy costume
