Mother Earth's Message

My poem submitted to Albert's Poetry Cafe's contest, "Tolvi's Ten Word Contest"

Mother Earth is whispering your name.

If you listen closely you will hear her message.

Put down the book that you are reading.

You can read your book another day.

There are things Mother Earth wants to say.

There are things she wants to tell every human that walks upon her soil.

Open your eyes to what’s going on around you.

Mother Earth has peeked into your heart.

You already know her eternal message.

She has reiterated her message far too long, but still no one listens.
