For a girl

I've finally found someone that understands

Is independent, and has her own set of plans

I've never met anyone else like her

Someone so beautiful, unique and pure

She's so down to earth, with a huge caring heart

She had my attention from the very start

Yes this poem, I wrote is about you

You can hold onto this and read it whenever you're blue

Your smile is so addicting

Can you hear my heart, it's beating and ticking

I'll give you the words, just sing for me

I'll show you a place no one else has ever seen

You only deserve to be treated with respect

Your warmth and compassion hits me like a California sunset

I'm head over heels for you, if you couldn't tell

You've filled my heart, that was once an empty shell

Please I hope I'm not scaring you in anyway

I just wanna be a supporting actor, as you take the lead in your play

Really lovely piece, the most poetic write I've read from you yet :)

"I'll show you a place no one else has ever seen" - I don't know why but this is such a beautiful line to me. It's like you're telling this girl that she's the first person you've ever let in past your metaphorical gates. Lovely :')
