How I Really Feel

When I have questions with no answers, I go and find em

Then pick which one I feel makes most sense, and I believe

So when I hear your condescending talk, I cough up phlegm

Who the f**k are you really tryin to deceive?

 

Your superficial life has you completely desensitized

Ignorin' the reality of the situation, you're soaked in denial

So judge me and persecute me for I have testified

Demandin' a retrial as you wave your holy bible

 

You're so brave but still scared of what you don't know

You're just another one their puppets, in this god forsaken show

So hung up on societies stereotypes

Claimin' your patriotic as you put on those stars and stripes

 

Afraid to let go and lose that little bit of control

Tryin to degrade my poetry, f**k you, this is my heart and soul

It just goes to show that, that big ole heart, is just a lump of coal

You really thought you could break what was meant to be whole
