WordsA Poem by SW..if..TYThey spew poison and disguise them as gentle words They wave to you, but they're really flipping you the bird These gestures are so subtle, But hurt like being punched with every knuckle They kick you in the knees and make you buckle The days we live in are blinding Like a desolate road that's dark and winding Danger lurks around every turn This is a road that we'll never learn
As time shifts, and and the space around us collapses They'll lay us down with open fists, Until we all suffer and have unrecoverable relapses
We can all see you on that pedestal you sit on We the people will bring upon a wrath at the break of dawn We're strong and we all know that you're wrong So we're removing the cancer that doesn't belong
