I've never ran
Ran so far in my life
Away
Away from all the hate and pain
People saying you're skin is too dark
Dark or too light
Running away from the system
A system that pushes pills in children's face
Trying to slow down their pace
Without a hint of disgrace
Only trying to win the money race
But what's the case?
Running away from the crowd
Trying to make God proud
Screaming so loud
So loud that the dead can hear
Hear a voice so impairing
Only to remember Your nailing
Running away from our food
That we know is no good
To make the rich healthier
And the poor less stealthier
Honey it's all a game
We're all the sheep
In the heep
They're the pigs
Cause they only dig
We dig for gold
But only find ourselves in a hole
Because they cheat our money
It's in their tummy
