Fears

Fears

A Poem by poeticmetal
"

Truth hurts

"
Darling, we were so close together
You know my fears, I know yours
We hold each other's hand as a tight as a virgin
But when you called a name, why it wasn't mine?

I kissed your lips then you wiped it out with your collar
There was a lipstick stain on it but it wasn't mine either
I called you sweetheart, you called me baby
I know I'm not the only one.

I started crying inside me and then I hear a voice,
a familiar voice that could melt an ice
and there you are darling, naked under those warm sheets
moaning and groaning with your concubine.

I started melting and my stomach hurts
Darling, we were so close together
but you just showed me my greatest fear
You, holding other's hand as tight as a virgin.
