What Do I Do

What Do I Do

A Poem by Bell Spalding
"

Limericks found in my google drive from 2017. Growing into love was actually a sort of painful experience, but worth it.

"

I forced myself to act reserved

To not mingle, but only observe

Through my struggles I’ve stayed

Well aware I’ve been played

Silent through what I have not deserved

I have failed to give up on the notion

That there still is a smidge of emotion

On the quieter end

While I break and I bend

With a futile sort of devotion

Aw, being shy and someone like you. But feeling reserved and then slowly opening up with a little bit of confidence as you get used to each other. Young love. Sweet and cute.
