A New PlaceA Poem by Cate Mcgowan
Sculpted in foreign sediments
With a scent like Paprika and violet and thyme He is poetry. And he lets his limbs hang in the most elegant way swaying across the world in clouds of Arabian sand melting here. To stay In my vision. I wander, out of the corner of my eye Far Far Far Deep, into the sweet somewhere he has given thee And without his knowledge I strive for civilization In this Deep Salty Sea. I strive for him to notice Me. © 2013 Cate McgowanAuthor's Note
