Young, dumb and utterly annoying

A Chapter by maya_online
"

William has just met his neighbor, and in the span of 30 minutes, he already despises her, even if she's absolutely adorable, she's also absolutely annoying and young and stupid and monkey slippers.

"
This woman might literally ruin my life, but that didn't matter for a moment because I was more distracted by how good she looked all sweaty and disheveled, and I wondered what she would look like under me, all sweaty, and disheveled.
Now I wasn't really feeling that way, as I stared at three different women, a brunette, a blond and one with black hair, all around the same age as me, with casserole pots in hand. I'd made it very obvious that I didn't want to be welcomed into this neighborhood, I'd actually preferred if they would leave me alone forever so I can be old and alone and sit on my porch and scare away any kids which would come by, that seemed like a likely future for me.

I wasn't an idiot, and I knew what they were saying about me on Facebook, I had no clue why I'd gotten Facebook, my niece asked for me to follow her and like her pictures when she posted, and I was obliged to say yes because my brother didn't ever want his 'sweetpea' upset, but now I was starting to wonder if I was willing to pay the price for that sweetness, being known as 'Mr. Handsome in 2110' isn't as grand as it sounds. But it was enough to know that the little neighbor next door with her monkey slippers and tight little shorts, god, had basically sent this comedy troupe to my door.
"Wow, uh, well we wanted to say sorry for the late introduction, we always thought that you would've preferred if we never came," the brunette smiled, she had heavy makeup on which seemed days old yet freshly done at the same time.
"I would-" I began, but was interrupted by the one with black hair, she had dog hairs scattered across her black blouse.
"Well, you gon' invite us in or what, suga'?" But they don't wait for an answer, I sigh deeply.

I'd moved into this house 3 years ago, there wasn't some deep reason, it was just close to the club I'd bought, but now I was wondering if it would be better to move. I'd gotten the money from my parents, but after they cut me off, I'd been living off the money I'd made from Moonlight, my club. It'd gone surprisingly well, and I'd found the more money you have, the more women flock to you like flies to s**t.

I looked through my window, which stared into the house beside me, 2111. I'd seen her for only a moment, wrapped up in a white robe, toothbrush in her mouth as she smiled at her phone, disappearing into the hall beside her. She must have thought she won, that she taught me a good lesson to not be mean or whatever the point was around her cute, little stunt. I brushed my hair back, following the three women, but my mind was stuck on the way the robe hung against her brown skin.
F**k.
"So, we've all brought casserole, m'kay, you try them all and tell us which you like the best- here, Sara, shuffle mine and Beatrice's." I watched them move the ceramic pots over my granite, I took a deep breath, trying to control my temper, but as I heard the scratching against my island, the women muttering and laughing to themselves, I was slowing starting to lose control of my tongue.
The woman with the black hair, Sara, then spoke. "Go 'head, sweetheart!" She smiled happily as they watched me, spoon in hand. I took one of the ceramic bowls, picking it up, digging the spoon inside before pressing my foot against the trash bin, watching the lid go up and the food went down, and it landed with a soft thud. It took them a moment, but I'd already had my hand on the second bowl, this one was stiffer, so it fell all together, like a soft brick. When they realized what I was doing, they gasped, the brunette which was named Beatrice put her hand on the last one, but I'd already had it over the bin, looking her in the eye as the food fell into my trash. I then handed them back to the three.
"Please get the f**k out, sorry for my french," I said, taking a deep sigh as I watched the women walk out, stunned. "Oh, and tell 2111, whatever her name is, to watch out, because I'll bite back. Ah, don't ever come back here, thanks." I then turned, not bothering to look as I closed the door, it took a second, but I heard their receding footsteps, then the muttering before I looked to see them go over to 2111's door. Their faces were red with what looked like embarrassment, I could hear their voices carry from over here, and I watched as 2111 nodded, her hand on her hip as the women spoke to her, she then walked back into her house, and I watched her look through the window, catching my gaze before pointing at me, then balling up her fist, shaking the little non-threatening things like a child, I couldn't help but smirk, turning to return to my room.
I'd had enough of human interactions, but my mind continued to float to her, which was strange. I was 36, a club owner, and had 2 friends, which were mainly my siblings, and I was sitting here with this...fleeting crush. But, damn, she looked really good. I hadn't known my neighbor was going to be so young, or so feisty, when I went out to go help her, I'll admit, I was watching her for so long that if I watched her for any longer I might've gotten an erection, it was the only reason I'd helped her.
But she knows how to make me regret it.
I closed my eyes, I had no time to think about some 20-something next door, especially not her, that didn't stop my thoughts, but it did help, and I drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, I was up with a start, my hair was tousled, but I didn't mind it as I threw on my towel, finally getting out of the shower. I'd searched for a simple black button up and black dress pants, going with whichever watch was closest.
Today at Moonlight, I had a interview with a potential employee which I found out earlier this morning, I'd forgotten we were looking for an assistant for me, hopefully someone pretty, so the men there want to pay more and more. I needed someone who could answer my calls but also be able to divert people away from my office with her...overwhelming beauty, so basically a reformed stripper.
I'd gotten in as early as I could, but I looked over to see Ben already there.
"Willy, my man!" He called, he patted the man he was talking to on the shoulder before running up to me, pulling me into a firm hug.
"Don't call me Willy, not your man, you f*****g gay, and how do you always get here before I do?" I said, reciprocating his hug because if I didn't he makes them last longer.
"I've got a beautiful woman to wake up to every morning, I've got a reason, dude. Either way, the girl is coming in at uh 11, so in about an hour." He looked at me then smiled, "gotta know everything, don't ya'? Her name is... April Sunshine, of course it is, she's pretty good-looking, but she's only ever worked at cafe's, so...not the same as a club."
"No, not the same at all, is she the only one?"
"Well the only one who wouldn't maybe try to seduce you, looked civilized, and didn't put her Onlyfans in her resume." Ben said, and I grinned.
"Really, maybe save the ones who did, just in case we need them for another job."
"William, the day you open up a strip club is the day I think pigs may really fly,  no joke."

I'd been sitting at my desk, my legs crossed, my sleeves rolled up and a few buttons loose. It sometimes got incredibly warm back in my office, that was until I heard a knock on my door, I didn't look up, assuming it was Ben.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Black." The feminine voice said, my brows furrowed, but I remembered Ms. Sunshine was meant to come that evening as well.
"Ah, Ms. Sunshine, nice to-" but when I looked up I was met with two pairs of brown eyes, brown eyes I knew, her smile fell almost immediately, and I remembered her little fists from yesterday.
April Sunshine was my gorgeous neighbor, out of her monkey slippers and into some heels, her coily hair now down and falling over her shoulders and her curves... f**k, I mean, I was hoping she would keep eye contact with me, because if she looked down she might meet my excitement.
"No f****n' way." I heard her mutter, and I scoffed, leaning back.
"Take a seat 2111, I mean, tell me all about why you want to work so closely with me." I grinned. "Lock the door behind you, too, we'll be talking for some time."
