speak in metaphors

when i can't speak words...

when i can't talk in words ,

i speak in metaphors:

like the tide (you pull me in),

like the sun (you shine from within).

if you could take an instance,

and softly sing along with me,

and unravel all these mysteries,

you would see what you mean to me.

This is just a short piece I wrote in about 1 minute flat while I was thinking about how I'm sometimes not very clear with those that I love. And that I hope they can see my good intentions. Obviously, this may be the final draft or it may be the rough draft if I feel I need to revise it or make it longer and fuller. Thanks for reading!
