A Poem by TransparentHearts

Her tender hands embrace my spirit

Without her the poison flow quickens

The knife punctures not so deep in

The antidote from her lips cures it

Escalating from shakes to the constant shivering

Nights freeze without the warmth of her love

Her arms around me remains my security from above

Fingers tracing my neck, desiring, then cold and quivering

Surrounds me again in an omnipresent fog

Darkness and shadows shroud my sight

Come to me, baby, help me escape to the light

Allow me her voice and her delicate dialog

Enter my toxic world and feel my obscurity

To speak the truth is to whisper “I miss her”

Memories fade together and start to blur

She decimates the toxicity to pure our purity

My addiction, my drug

This withdrawal is my downfall

This craving is insaning

Me, my addiction

To her love
