Lyrical PowerA Poem by mwalker96A poem about how my poetry can make an impact on people regardless of where they're backgrounds.
I spit metaphors and similes,
Nouns and verbs, I spit these words For the hood and the burbs. I speak light in the darkness that surrounds me. Surrounded by drugs, gunshots and poverty Hope is still in the air Because God is apart of me. I'm no hero but I got the hero within In the midst of all the sin I still hold on to my mission Even when others aren't wit it. I got Lyrical power in these bones Everyday I write these poems To show my passion in using spoken words To be a voice to the unheard. Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat Is what I use to tell my story Through the form of poetry In hopes that God gets the glory. © 2018 mwalker96Author's Note
