Twisted Thoughts

Twisted Thoughts

A Poem by Huggy Bear
"

Thoughts twisting a turning like a winding road

"
My thoughts are gnarled like tree bark
They twist and turn in unimaginable directions
Confusion radiates and mutates my soul
They are unpredictable
I cannot control them
I fear where they will end up
It may consume me
Or horribly destroy me
Leaving a shell of my true myself

The mind can trick us into doing the right or wrong things. I like to take my time in big decisions. Weight the good and the bad. Life is a lesson to learn control. Took me 40 years to learn to be quiet in affairs that I can't control. I like the complete poem. Most of us can screw up life if possible. A excellent poem.
