Bottom Of The Bottle

Bottom Of The Bottle

A Poem by Huggy Bear
"

drowning sorrows

"
The walls of society are closing in
It is so hard to breath
Hard to find peace
Nowhere to go
Nowhere to hide
A break within the soul emerges

Nothing can fix it
The break can only be fix with the drink
The drink soothes for awhile
Its taste is delectable
The drink color is pure white
The color shows innocence and purity
Your soul is wrapped with this drink like a warm blanket

Sadly when the last ounce is consumed
The cold punch of reality knocks you out
As you awaken
You see the bottom of the bottle
It is a sicken sight
It shows the ride is over

You get up and wander the world
Looking for the drink
Trying to find the warm blanket
Knowing it will come to an end
At the bottom of the bottle
