Whiskey TimeA Poem by Huggy BearA time when liquor and peace come together til other things come into playI open the front door
In front of me A huge looming storm cloud approaches It rumbles with a violent vigor Thunder booms with authority Lightening made its presence known With a heavy sigh I sit on the porch I took a swig of whiskey I savor every molecule of this sweet nectar I take another sip The drink calms me down My mind is released of all stress and worries Nothing can get better then this On a whim I turn my attention behind me Standing behind me is my lady She stands like an amazon warrior My lady is wearing a beautiful black night gown My lust rises with every second I look at her She glides over to me and sits next to me She takes my whiskey and takes a sip Within the hour we are inebriated When we kissed The taste became sour and foul Our lips were dry as the Gobi desert Yet it didn't matter Our lust overcame all that She grabs my hand and leads me back inside With a final glance I look back towards the storm I marvel at its beauty for one last time I bid it a faint goodnight © 2012 Huggy BearReviews
