Purple Haze

illusions in love

I take a pull off her intoxicating infatuation
I go in daze
The world is filled with robust color
Love and happiness are all around
Gumdrops and roses sprout from the ground
When I gaze towards her

Hearts and cupids flood around her
Suddenly the hearts and cupids fly away
In their place is a light
Its no ordinary light

It glows with a sweet vibrance
I cannot keep myself away from it
As I inch closer
The light wraps around me
I feel the light pushing me towards it aggressively
When I came close

The world I visited disappeared
The world became ugly
Color is drained into the sewers below
I am disappointed

I realized the world I experience
Lied within our love
I look at my love
I looked into her eyes
The euphoric feel comes back
All is well
